UPDATED LINKS: Our popular Personal Property Inventory Spreadsheet now has a companion utility that helps fill in the prices using popular online stores! Although you can still download the stand alone spreadsheet, this little tool can save a lot of time when filling in prices and INCLUDES the spreadsheet as a base to start with.

Although we do offer tips that can help find pricing (such as using store registries either online or using a pricing scanner at the store) you still have to enter it all manually into the spreadsheet which can be a real drag. A survivor who lost their home in the 2012 Waldo Canyon Fire was going through this process and as a software developer wrote a COMPLETELY FREE little utility that helps find pricing online.

With a grant from CARe he was able to develop it into a website which you can access for free at: http://www.personalpropertypricing.com/

Our Personal Property Inventory Spreadsheet was originally compiled by Community Assisting Recovery, Inc. in conjunction with disaster survivors from multiple disasters who donated their inventory lists. We would like to thank everyone involved in helping make this tedious process a little easier to manage.

Testimonials

After a fire took our home and neighborhood of approximately 200 homes, CARe was able to help us with understanding the process of working with insurance after our loss. The founders of this company understood our position fully, as they have experienced losing their own home to a fire. They will help you by offering one on one consultation, help you calculate your “complete” loss and educate you in the way insurance really works. We were able to gain a more complete recovery of our loss through their integrity and competent ability to help us to understand the insurance industries goals, payments and procedures which are not taught by the insurance industry. If you are unfortunate to have this type of trauma in your life I fully recommend you to get a free consultation before signing anything with your insurance company. You have experienced enough; let CARe guide you through the process, you do not have to lose anything else.
